My Dad
My dad plays baseball with me.
My dad is very smart.
My dad gives great hugs.
My dad gets slurpees for me.
My dad is really cool.
My brother, Cody, is a pitcher for the Silverado High School baseball team. Cody is a closer. That means he is really good! His team is called the Skyhawks. They took second place this year. His coaches are really mean. They make the team run and practice a lot.
My brother is really nice. He plays Halo and Guitar Hero with me. When we play, we are on the same team so no one really is the winner or the loser. I think I am better at Guitar Hero but Cody is definitely better at Halo!
My mom is cool. She is a baseball mom. That means she likes baseball a lot! In a week, she goes to probably eight games to see me and my brothers play.
My mom’s name is Brenda. She has blue eyes and reddish-brown hair. My mom is cute. She smiles and laughs a lot. My mom has gold jewelry. She wears jeans all the time and she wears short sleeve shirts.
My mom works at Home Depot. She also works around the house. She does everything!
Wet n’ Wild is my favorite game. Mrs. Ozawa told us to get the bucket full of water. Then we passed it over our heads. Then we passed it over are heads again until we get to the back of the line. Then we run to the front of the line and we do that again and again. That is how you play Wet n’ Wild and that is fun!
On spring break I went to the Natural History Museum. Boy it was fun! I had a blast! I also went to the Shark Reef. That was even more fun. I played video games and that was fun too.
My class is going on a field trip. We have to think of where we would go if we were the teacher- the Ocean Spray Juice Factory! You get to try all the different flavors they have. They also have a walking tour. They have a shop you can shop in. Isn’t that cool?
My room is 10' x 10'. The main colors are white and blue. I have a TV in my bedroom. I have clips on my wall that I hang my awards on. My room is right next to Cody's room.
I went to the Egg Roll Contest and took 4th place. It was fun. My brother won. He threw the hardest.
We had to roll four eggs like we were bowling. I had the best guess when it came to which egg would go the furthest. I thought the blue would go furthest but the orange did. I think I figured out why. If the egg is light it can't go far but if it's heavy it has enough weight to go far.
The eggs were green, blue, orange, and purple. Orange had money inside. Blue had air. Green had rice. Purple had erasers.
Mrs. Nevada came into our class and read us a book. The title of the book was "Stephanie's Ponytail". It was a funny story. Mrs. Nevada kept changing her hair when she was reading the book.
Mrs. Nevada wears a crown. It has diamonds on it. It is really shiny.
I loved the books John read for Reading Week. I liked "The Adventures of Taxi Dog" the best. I loved the part where the dog is dressed up like a clown. It was really funny!
I learned that John is in a band. He is six feet four inches tall, he's nice, and a good reader.
I was wondering: do you play baseball? Do you like the Yankees or the Mets better? I like the Yankees. I was on a team called the Yankees. I played in the infield, mostly second base, but I can play anywhere except the outfield.
My cookies are like brownies but they are not. They have chocolate chips in them. My cookies are rectangles and thick. Usually when you make them they have lots of things. Since we couldn't bring nuts, we just didn't do that part. They are good!
An orange has dots on the outside. It is about the size of a baseball. The color of it is orange. Oranges have a tangy flavor. Their texture is squishy and it tears off into wedges.
People keep saying I'm lucky and my miles are low. I am so so so so so soooooooooooooooooooooo popular.
I have leather seats and my rims.... Don't even get me started with them! They are 20 inches and very shiny. My rims were the shiniest on the dealer's lot. All the other cars want to be me!
My family and 27 other people took a trip. We all stayed in a cabin in Panaca, Nevada. We drove to Ely where we took a train ride called the "Polar Express". Uncle Brian got married on the train. It was fun.
Tuesday has finally arrived! My baseball team is at the Little League World Series. We are going to have so much fun!
This is the championship game! The score is 9 to 7 and we are losing. Both of the teams have tried their hardest.
It's the bottom of the last inning. Dom, Nick, and Sam all had singles. The bases are loaded. I am up. I hit one out! It's a grand slam to win. Now it's 9 to 11! Our team did fantastic! Everyone had fun!
