My Dad
My dad plays the Wii game with me.
My dad is always there to help me.
My dad is a police officer.
My dad is very funny.
My dad is smart.
I have two uncles named Bob. They are really old. One of them is in heaven and one is in Tennessee. Before Uncle Bob went to Tennessee we celebrated his birthday at the Fiesta Casino. We went to the buffet. It was crowded. My Uncle Nelson lives in Denver with my Aunt Jackie.
My aunts are really cool. Aunt Shelby lives in Michigan. One time we went to Jack In The Box together. After we went there, my mom, my aunt, and I went home and went swimming.
I am being used by a girl doing math problems. She is doing adding and I really help her. I also do the spelling words. I do all the writing and sometimes it goes off the line. I will keep trying to help and soon it will get better.
My mom is cool. She works at four hospitals in Las Vegas. She is a radiologist.
My mom is the best mom ever! Her name is Pat. My mom is 55 years old. She is going to be 56 on the 20th of May. I think she wants a necklace for her birthday. She doesn’t eat very much cake but I think we’ll have some birthday cake together.
I think my mom really loves me. I know she does! She tells me so all the time.
Splash Attack was fun. Wet n' Wild was also fun. The more we played, it was got better and better. Field Day is a day where you have fun and don’t have school work to do. At Field Day there are water games and just games.
On Spring Break I went to the Adventure Dome with my Mom and Don. We had fun on the water ride. Mom and I went on the rides. Don did not go on the rides. I went there for fun. I went there on Thursday night.
I think we should go to the Dinosaur Museum. It is interesting. You can see bones of many dinosaurs that lived on this earth many years ago. I think our class would like taking a field trip there.
A firefighter came to our classroom and read us “Stop, Drop, and Roll”. We enjoyed having a firefighter come to our classroom. We have had two firefighters come to our classroom. Gabby’s uncle was first. Firefighter Garland was second.
We did a fun thing called Egg Roll 2008. It was like bowling. You had to underhand toss a plastic Easter egg. Everyone did it four times with different eggs.
The blue egg had nothing in it. The orange one had pennies. The green one had rice. The purple one had erasers.
I thought the blue would go furthest but it didn't. The green one did. I'm not sure why.
I like the book "Where the Wild Things Are". I like it because I read it before. I read it with Mrs. Thompson in first grade.
I learned that John is in a band when he is not selling cars. I also found out that he is more than six feet tall.
I wonder what John does with his friends in the band. Do they hang out and go to the movies? Does John have a favorite movie? The movie I like best is Shrek 3.
I made 8 dozen cookies. I have some at home. The cookies are circles and hearts. The hearts have icing and sprinkles on them. They have letters made into words. The icing is red, pink white, and purple. The sprinkles are red.
Strawberries are my favorite fruit. They are red and look like a tiny heart. On top of the strawberry is a small green stem that looks like a hat. Strawberries are so good, nice and sweet! They are good when they are dipped in Cool Whip.
There are other snowflakes next to me. We are trying to land on the ground. We see people playing in the snow. They look like they are having fun. I hope they play with me. I like to play snowball fights. I like when I land on the ground.
I spent my vacation getting ready for Christmas. I helped put all the Christmas decorations up and I passed out Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. I put cookies and milk out for Santa. He left presents in the stockings.
Our family always has dinner at Grandma's house. She makes deviled eggs and I get to help. I get to help set the table. We have pretty flowers on the table and candy in the candy dish.
The real reason I wanted to go to Sea World was to see Shamu. Did you know that when you sit down in front, Shamu gets you all wet. There were all kinds of fish that put on shows. The seals were fun to watch. The penguins were on ice.
